India born designer, Nivedita Saboo is a NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) graduate who launched her eponymous label in 2002 and received a National Award and Bharat Gaurav in 2019 for excellence in the field of fashion designing.

Her new-age design philosophy that amalgamates heritage craft techniques with futuristic designs combined with a seasoned fashion sense has translated into striking collections that define today’s global men and women. As the Fashion Director for Miss World, Mr World and Mr Supranational for consecutive years, Nivedita has mentored and styled aspiring talent who represent India on several international platforms.

Over the years, Nivedita has also styled a wide spectrum of muses for runways, red carpets, events, magazine shoots, commercials and several private engagements. From the Lamborghini Family to Akshay Kumar, Rajkumar Rao, Harshwardhan Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lisa Haydon, Vivek Oberoi, Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan and many of the leading models in the country have adorned Nivedita Saboo creations.

London Fashion Week is the first of the four global fashion weeks. LFW takes place twice a year in February and September, showcasing over 250 designers to a global audience of influential media and retailers. It is estimated that orders of over £100m are placed during LFW each season.

Nivedita Saboo was one of the few Indian designers at London Fashion Week. With the label foraying into the global markets, the focus of her LFW collection was to assimilate market trends and fashion newer designs that resonate with a more universal audience. Blurring the boundaries of art and fashion, Nivedita’s debut collection for LFW UNLEARN made her retreat to the inception of a designer’s journey as an artist. She explored the basics of colour, shape, texture and lines through the artistic expressions of visually impaired children. The collection was well-received globally and was featured in Vogue UK.
